Susan Billings married Elijah White on January 16, 1866 in Allegan, Michigan, and that union was blessed with 10 children. About 7 years after Elijah’s death in 1904, Susan entered the Soldiers’ Home Hospital in Grand Rapids and passed away 3 months later in 1912. Susan and Elijah are buried at Oakhill Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
